Film for Youth is run by UK Youth and supported by director Guy Ritchie. This festival dedicated to young film-makers gives young people aged 12 - 25 the opportunity to submit short films, gain a Youth Achievement Award, take part in workshops and if shortlisted participate in a premiere screening and masterclass with Guy. Tower Hamlets College is a large further education college with four different campuses: the largest is on Poplar High Street, about 700m north of Canary Wharf; the others are at Arbour Square, Bethnal Green and the 'Idea Store' on the East India Dock Road. The college educates around 9,000 local people each year, including at its Sixth Form College.
